We meet on Tuesday evening at Cosby Golf Club. The majority of our members live in Blaby, Countesthorpe and Narborough and come from all walks of life!

Selection of photos from a very successful Burns night which raised £1500 for Burn Aid a Charity based at Birmingham Children`s Hospital and other charities supported by the Rotary Club of Blaby Meridian.

A fun filled evening ensued with the traditional piping in of the haggis, the toasts including The Immortal Memory of Rabbie Burns.

Further festivities continued including an unusual speech which was meant to be `From The Haggis` but actually as the haggis had been devoured by guests it was addressed from `The Spirit of The Haggis` and performed in `make believe` by Jim Steel who re-enacted the stabbing of the haggis and reminded the audience of `the wee poor creature` captured and killed in the Highlands of Scotland.
